Thank You

Posted: Apr 30, 2016

Dear Friends,

I wanted to say Thank You for your support during my recent illness and recovery.

Your phone calls, cards, prayers, and well wishes meant so much. Knowing that I had my “church family” behind me gave me the strength I needed.

Bless you all for your kindness,
Gerry McGraw

Knights Of Columbus Charity Raffle

Posted: Apr 29, 2016

The Bishop Fenwick Council Knights of Columbus wants to thank all the St. Saviour parishioners who so generously purchased tickets for our Charity Raffle after the Masses on April 2 and 3. You purchased 72 tickets, the proceeds from which will allow us to assist local neighbors and charities in need. Thanks again and good luck in the raffle. The drawing will be held May 21, 2016 at the Ohio State Knights of Columbus convention, held this year in Sandusky, Ohio.

The Knights are the world’s largest Catholic, fraternal organization with over 1.8 million members throughout the world. Membership is open to all men over the age of 18 who are practical Catholics. Want more information? Contact Bob Rolfes at 791-5334

UC Medical Center Hospital: Eucharistic Ministry

Posted: Apr 28, 2016

Some of you know I’m a Eucharistic Minister at University of Cincinnati Medical Center Hospital. I work with Fr. Hans Gruenbauer, the hospital Chaplain. During a visit while I was patient there two years ago, he mentioned a need for volunteers. Some may know Fr. Hans as he celebrates Mass for us when asked to fill in.

I know some of you are active in this ministry at our neighborhood hospitals and nursing homes. Those that are active will tell you there’s a very warm feeling in the work we do. They are always in need of additional volunteers.

If you are interested or think you might be, call me, Dick Schroeder, at 793-2502 or catch me after 9 AM Sunday Mass.
